After completing a great real estate course, I learned a lot and thought, I'm ready. However, because I was taking the Real Estate Salesperson Exam in Massachusetts "via PSI", I assumed that it would at least assist and possibly strengthen my chances for passing if I utilized it. The thorough person I am also assumed that practicing PSI exams prior to the actual my exam, would only solidify a positive score outcome. NOT so! After reading the exam questions in the PSI RE Practice Exams for 2015-2016, I realized that IF the questions on the Massachusetts exam were like those in the book, with the test looming that week, I was sure to fail. Simply put, too much of what I read in the book compared to what I learned in the class was completely different. Not only was the actual content of the book different, but the way in which the questions were posed in the book are set up with double and triple negatives and NOT an example of what was on the exam. My strong advice to anyone taking the MA RE Exam ~ Study what you learn in class and DO NOT buy this book. It will only confuse you and stress you out! I passed my MA RE Exam on the first try and it was only due to what my teacher taught me. NOTHING in PSI's Book was beneficial to that end. HUGE waste of money!
I took the online ProSchools course and learned absolutely nothing. I bought this book and the exam prep book and studied it for a month, took the actual PSI practice exam ($20) then took my exams. I passed both the state and the national Real Estate exams on the first try. Worked for me! The exams question are similar and the content covered valuable. Just be aware that you will likely encounter at least 5-10% of the real exam questions as what I call "wild hair" questions. Meaning they are bad questions, out of left field. Just expect that you won't know everything.
I purchased this and the Louisiana state study guides. It was the only study guides I purchased to pass the exams. I purchased it on Kindle so I could study on the go without the bulk of a book. The guide is easy to use and very efficient. I was able to pass the tests on my first attempt.
Good book to study for RE Exam
I passed my exam after one try. My friend failed it 5 times, I finally gave her this book. I think it prepared me to think critically. Worth reading and do the test questions in the other book.

Great help for taking the PSI, highly recommend
Took the state & national tests today. I passed both & studied from those exam books. I was somewhat prepared, but not as well as I wanted to be. I feel like they get you 75% to where you need to be.
